Skills & Capabilities ;

•  Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures and vendor management.
•  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Tally.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
•  Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
•  High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:-

•   Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
•  Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate the best commercial terms.
•  Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) as per company requirements.
• Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and other items to avoid production delays.
•  Coordinate with the Stores, Production, Quality, and Accounts departments for smooth procurement operations.
•  Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchases based on stock requirements.
•  Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply-related issues.
•  Verify purchase invoices and supporting documents before submitting them to Accounts.
•  Maintain accurate purchase records, vendor databases, and procurement documentation.
•  Ensure purchased materials meet the required quality standards and specifications.
•  Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to achieve cost savings.
•  Comply with company procurement policies and statutory requirements.
•  Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors for long-term business benefits.
•  Prepare procurement reports, pending order status, and cost analysis for management review.
•  Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
